Make your own alerts

Choose what to watch and when to warn you, for example “Lay rate goes below 80% over the last 7 days” or “Feed stock lasts goes below 5 days”. Alerts show here, on the Dashboard and on the bell.

Eggs and stock

Log each collection. Stock goes up with good eggs collected and down when orders are delivered.

Flocks and lighting

Bird numbers update from mortality records. The lighting plan works out lights-on times for each laying flock.

Livestock

Manage goats, sheep, pigs, cattle and other non-poultry animal groups alongside your poultry records.

Animal groups

Each group is linked to the same feed, water, weight, health and cost records used elsewhere in the app.

Record livestock activity

Choose the animal group in each form. These records update the same farm history used by reports and alerts.

Locations

Houses, pens and stores on the farm. Flocks, climate readings and jobs can be linked to them.

Feed

Record deliveries and daily use. Stock and days left are worked out from both.

Feed efficiency, last 28 days

FCR is kilos of feed per kilo of eggs. Good laying flocks are around 2.0–2.3; higher means feed is being wasted or birds are laying less. Egg weight is set in Settings.

Water and climate

Birds drink about twice as much as they eat, and more in hot weather. Readings above the heat-stress limit raise an alert.

Health and vet

Observations, losses, vaccinations, treatments, vet visits and isolation for every flock.

Biosecurity and compliance

Visitor, vehicle, cleaning and pest control logs, incidents, and the licences and permits you must keep up to date. Useful when VSD, FDA or a buyer inspects you.

Farm operations

Equipment, servicing and repairs, and farm supplies such as crates, drugs, disinfectant and PPE.

Sales and customers

Orders reserve eggs from stock. Delivered orders count as sales; payments clear what customers owe.

Make an invoice from any order with the Make invoice button on the Orders tab. Payments are applied to each customer’s oldest delivered orders first.

New orders take their crate price from here, using the customer’s type. A customer’s own usual price comes first, then this list, then the standard price in Settings.

Suppliers

Feed mills, vets, pullet suppliers and others. Feed products and deliveries link back to them.

Finance

Costs come from expenses here plus feed deliveries, vet visits, vaccinations, treatments, repairs and supplies with a cost entered.

Monthly budget by cost type

Revenue and cost projection

Monthly run-rate forecast from your last 3 completed months

Sales are projected in crates from delivered orders. Revenue uses recorded order values; costs use recorded farm costs. Estimates assume a similar monthly run-rate and can be low if records are incomplete.

Cost of eggs (COGS) and gross profit

What it cost to produce your eggs this month: the feed your birds ate, priced at what you paid per kg, plus the other direct costs you switch on below. Gross profit is egg sales minus the cost of the eggs you sold.

Also count as cost of eggs:

Costs and returns by flock

Costs assigned to a flock appear directly; shared costs are split by bird-days. Feed used, vet costs and medicines are included.

Lifetime flock cash flow

Compares recorded flock purchase and direct operating costs with sale income assigned to each flock. Add bird-sale proceeds in Other income and select the flock. Shared farm costs are allocated in the monthly view above; egg sales are estimated from production there.

Sales count when orders are delivered. Costs count on the date they were recorded, whether or not they’ve been paid.

Egg and feed planning

When each flock lays and when to replace it, what your flocks should lay in the weeks ahead, and how much feed the whole flock needs.

Flock timeline and replacement

When each flock starts and stops laying, and when the next day-old chicks (DOC) must arrive so new birds are laying before the old ones go, with no long break in eggs.

Change the timing

Egg projection

Worked out from each flock’s age, a standard layer curve, how well it has laid in the last 2 weeks, and recent losses.

By flock

A guide, not a promise: heat, disease, feed changes and lighting all move the real numbers. The more days you record, the closer it gets.

Feed plan

Suggested feed for each flock from its age and number of birds, against what you have in stock. Laying hens use each flock’s own daily target; young birds follow a standard growing chart.

Profit by flock

Which flock is paying its way this month.

Eggs are valued at the month’s average selling price. Feed counts at what each flock ate, priced from your delivery costs. Vet, vaccine and medicine costs go to their flock; other expenses are shared by bird numbers.

Daily reminders

Reminders go to everyone on the farm. If you choose what to check, the app only reminds you when that hasn’t been recorded yet, and shows it in Alerts.

Reminders on this phone

Each person turns this on for their own phone. Reminders pop up while the app is open or running in the background. When the app has been fully closed, you see what you missed as soon as you open it again.

Backup and restore

Your records are saved to your account, so you don’t need backups. You can still download a copy to keep, or restore one. Restoring replaces every record in your account with the backup.
